As a practitioner in the machinery industry, I must have heard such a horror story: the screw is broken in the hole...the screw is broken, and the screw head is broken, how to get it out? In fact, there are many ways, and today we will briefly introduce a few.
1
With guillotine extractor
The broken bolt is completely broken, and the outer end surface is hardly exposed.
First punch the hole at the center of the broken bolt↓↓
Find out a center drill ↓↓
Drill a hole where you just punched the hole↓↓
Change to a slightly larger twist drill bit for drilling ↓↓ (the outer diameter of the drill bit must be smaller than the inner diameter of the bolt)
Here comes the important point, we need a broken bolt extractor, and smash it into the bolt firmly↓↓
Twist the end face with a wrench to slowly unscrew the extractor↓↓
Finally, you can unscrew the broken bolt by hand↓↓

Screw slide, left-hand drill and screw extractor
What should I do if the screw on the machine is broken? The general method is to drill the holes with a drill screw first, and then use the small tool of the screw extractor to unscrew it in reverse. Remember to drop a few drops of glue during the removal process. Watch the video to learn more.

Good tools: rubber bands, magic glue, etc.
It is also advisable to use tools to deal with the problem of screw bad teeth. Here are mainly three kinds.
01 The first is the rubber band, which is very practical in daily life
A rubber band will do all the trick.
02 Doctor Luo, increase friction
There is a kind of snail doctor that drips on broken screw teeth.

At this time, the friction force will increase by 500 times, so that the screwdriver can firmly grasp the screw teeth and take it out.

03 Magic liquid, just one drop can take out the broken tap

Other methods
01 Lubrication method
Fill some lubricating oil, use a pointed hairpin or a chopstick to slowly knock out the fracture surface in reverse, and pour iron filings from time to time (the most commonly used method in the workshop, but for threaded holes with too small diameter or broken taps that are too long It is not suitable, but you can try).
02 Welding method
Weld a handle or hex nut on the broken section of the tap and flip it out slightly (this is a good way to do it, but it's a bit of a hassle to weld, and again, not suitable for smaller diameter taps).
03 Percussion method
Take the top of the steel roller and tap it slowly with a small hammer on the crack of the tap. The tap is relatively brittle, and it will eventually be knocked into slag. , if the diameter of the tap is too small, it will not work well, and if the diameter is too large, it will be tiring to tap).
04 welding repair method
Weld the threaded hole where the broken tap is located, then grind it flat, and re-drill the hole. Although it is difficult, it can be drilled slowly (if the threaded hole can be changed, it is recommended to change to the original threaded hole when re-drilling and tapping). next to the threaded hole).
05 Grooving method
Cut a slot on the cross-section of the broken tap, and screw it up in reverse with a screwdriver (the slot is difficult to cut out, and it will be even more difficult if the diameter of the tap is small).
06 Drilling method
Drill the threaded hole of the broken tap to a larger size, then inlay a wire threaded sleeve or pin or something, then weld, grind, and re-drill and tap the hole, which can be basically the same (this method is troublesome, but it is very practical, the tap size does not matter).
